Worship
There are many places on-site that automatically inspire
worship. In addition, we have a few spots, especially designed for it.
Mountain Chapel
Located a short hike from the dining hall, the mountain
chapel totally open and without a roof, is built into the side of a mountain and
has a breath-taking view. This
is the traditional spot for Monday night vespers during summer camp.
Lake
Chapel
Guests look out over the water from seating built into a
small hill lakeside. An easy hike which takes guests across a "silent
bridge" -- a boardwalk built over an extensive system of beaver dams,
helps to prepare the spirit for reflection. This is the traditional site of
closing vespers during summer camp.
Rec Shelter
Our newly renovated Rec Shelter is great for outdoor worship
or games and recreation during rainy weather because it is covered. This large
pavilion has electricity.
